Kids and their Popsicles

Are you on a tight budget and can't always afford to keep up with your kids popsicle addiction? During this hot weather, I am sure we are all going through boxes of popsicles.  Well why not try doing the home made popsicles to save a little on cash. You can use kool-aid, any type of fruit juice, I like to use apple juice, just about any type of flavored juice will taste good.
Or try this recipe I found. They used Jello.

Easy Jell-O Popsicles
Ingredients
  • 1 (3oz) package Jell-O
  • 1 packet of Kool-Aid
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cup boiling water
  • 2 cup cold water
Instructions
  1. In a pitcher, combine the Jell-O, Kool-Aid, sugar, and boiling water. Stir until dissolved.
  2. Mix in the cold water and pour into your molds. Freeze for 4-6 hours or until solid.
