How to Make Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Step 1: Wash your strawberries and dry them off with a paper towel other wise if they are still wet, the chocolate wont stick to them very well.
Step 2: Melt your chocolate. You can use any type you like, I used a chocolate bar. Break it up into small pieces, put it in a bowl and microwave for 20 seconds, it will not be totally melted so you will need to mix it for about a minute til its all melted. Do not try to melt all of it in the microwave because it will get too hot and start burning and smoking and you don't want that.
Step 3: Hold your strawberry by the stem and roll it around in the chocolate. Hold it up over the bowl. Once it stops dripping, its done to set down.
Step 4: Put a sheet of wax paper down on a cookie sheet and set all your strawberries on it and put them in the refrigerator for ten minutes before adding any extra designs. Otherwise they are ready in about 10 minutes and ready to eat. They can be left out for about 2 hours before they start to melt.
Final Product! As You can see the decorating takes some practice but its a fun and yummy treat for the whole family!
